Below is an example of a unit on animal classification taught early in the year. It is based on an Animal Classification Webquest I created that is also included in the project rubric. Students are guided very specifically on projects and given less choice than they are as the year goes on. There is also an example quiz that I wrote. The quiz has questions from each level of Bloom's taxonomy.
